Selam Transportation and Housing offers more than just transportation and housing resource services. It offers a sense of community for people who come from all walks of life. “Selam” means peace, a desire we share collectively. Peace starts in the home and travels where we take it. Selam Transportation services will provide reliable transit, establishing trust within the community. Those we serve can rest assured they will make it to their desired destination when they need to be. Not everyone has access to a vehicle or may know how to get around on their own (language barrier/other culture), but everyone should be able to access the things they need when they need it. There are far too many families and individuals who struggle to find housing. Whether it be a lack of resources or accessibility, we struggle to feel comfortable. Selam Housing will bridge the gap between needing a place to call home and finding that sense of peace. It’s important that those we serve gain an understanding of the process to be self-reliant. We want to enable, not disable those who are capable. We understand that everyone can learn. Including us
